You know, you could always move to CulTNET, along with #s2b and #ssrg... It's like a hub of sorts for a lot of the bigger sites in the community. You're free to come on in and reg the channel, if you wish. I know you already go there, Rolken, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. :P

While being grouped with the other major Sonic chats might be attractive, my impression is that a lot of us are skeptical/suspicious of cult management. I've been g:lined from there a couple times myself by AJ and crew, as have a couple others by I don't know who. I somewhat get the impression that the mood has toned down over the past couple years (which is why I'm there at all the past week or two), but the notion of losing some of our sovereignty to whoever the cult guys decide to ban isn't thrilling.

Buut like I said, maybe it's toned down, so maybe it's worth considering. And Tweaker said in chat that TSC subsites being un-Sonic-related wouldn't be a problem.

(Split from sonicandamy's 'chatroom' topic in Beef)

edit: Gerbil's expressed a negative opinion on the subject in chat, for the above reasons. If anyone else did I forget it.

I have another suggestion: irc.soniccenter.org :) (this might not be possible due to lack of available servers, though)

However, if we can set it up, I can write a module for ircservices-5.1 (currently in alpha testing) that can link the TSC membership database with NickServ. :)

I get my kicks from making yall change your autoconnects.

As for irc.soniccenter.org, if anyone has the resources to make it happen, you're GO FOR LAUNCH

I'd personally ignore association with cult if at all possible, but that's more or less because I don't really trust the lot.

That and changing my autoreconnects pisses me off.
